Hey guys, salut mes amis och hallå gubbar.
This video is for new YouTubers or for people that just want some advice and I will focus on 5 tips for when you create your videos. Number 1. When you follow a YouTuber that you're subscribing, the first thing you notice, is the YouTube thumbnail. Now believe it or not, the YouTube thumbnail makes a big difference and it's really important because it gives your followers (or viewers) an interest in watching your videos http://touringok.com/fortnite-keep-the-elder-alive-challenge-react-gaming/. Usually a good thumbnail is a thumbnail that is easy to read or understand. If you use small text or strong colors for example, it becomes less clear of what you're trying to present. This is a good example. The text is large, and it's easy to understand. Another tip is to use a custom font instead of the default ones you already have installed. There's many fonts that are more interesting to the human eye and they can help your thumbnails stand out. I've made a video where you can download my CS:GO YouTube thumbnail pack if you want some good material. Number 2. The intro. Now you obviously want a intro to present your channel, and my biggest advice is to keep it short and simple. Nobody likes to watch a 20 second intro or even a 10 second intro, and your viewers will most likely skip the intro when that happens. A good intro can be done in Cinema 4D or After Effects, and you can find great free templates on YouTube. Find one that you like, and make it short and simple. I usually don't recommend having a part of a song as your intro, it's better to have something unique because it's easier to remember your channel. Here's a bonus tip, you can start the video by making an introduction to the subject of the video, then show your intro right after. This will make sure that everyone follows you from the beginning and it encourages people to continue watching. But you don't need to do this. In fact, you don't even need an intro, but I do recommend one because it helps create a bond with the viewer and makes them remember your channel a lot easier. Number 3. If you plan on talking in your video, make some notes or write a script. The more you prepare beforehand, the easier it will be to present your video and it's subject. The video also becomes shorter and easier to follow. Many people make tutorials without rehearsing what they're gonna say and it ends up being a really long improvised video. So remember to take notes and prepare yourself for what you're gonna say. Another important tip is to record your voice and footage separately. You can record your video footage with Shadowplay and your audio footage with audacity (for example). This will allow you to place your voice in the footage wherever it fits best and cut out the unnecessary parts which comes to tip Number 4: Edit the video so you're only showing what's interesting. Try to bring down as many seconds as possible from all the boring scenes. Here's an example, I'm gonna shoot a watermelon. You can edit the clip to for example start right before I spot the watermelon. Nobody wants to watch a video when all they see is a guy running around and nothing is happening. So cut and edit the video to make it more interesting for the viewer. Number 5. If you plan on making more videos, make sure you notify your fans about it, because this will make them stay and also subscribe to your content. Many YouTubers end their video with related videos which is a good way to do it. Others just end the video by saying "If you like the video you can subscribe" which is fine too. As long as you make sure that your viewers are understanding that you're gonna make more videos. So here's an example I made following my own tips. Hmm, this video looks interesting. Hey guys in this video I'm gonna show you how to spot a watermelon WAIT, wrong game! AHA! So now you need to go through this Jungle to find the watermelon, hmm. *Maximu..* AHA. I'm gonna obviously end this video to say if you want to learn more about how to record your footage with good quality and rendering settings you can check the video description for more info. Thanks for watching, this was Maxim, stay awesome & go bananas!

- If you're like most people on this planet, you consider yourself a good person. You probably hold doors open for people, you have good manners, and of course, you would never think of breaking the law. But you might be surprised to learn that you may be breaking multiple laws every day and you don't even realize it. Yes, there are laws in place that forbid many of the things that we are used to doing every day, but are actually illegal. So today I'm going to tell you exactly what those laws are, and trust me, they're going to surprise you.
And yes, these are real laws, and yes, you can be arrested for them. So without further ado, here are 10 Laws You've Broken Without Even Knowing. Yeah, you also might wanna get your lawyer on the phone by the end of this one, just in case https://oncasinogames.com/poker/. Number one is singing Happy Birthday. If you've ever sang the song Happy Birthday in a public place, believe it or not, you've broken the law, surprise! The song was actually copyrighted back in 1935, and technically, you need to pay royalties in order to use it. Now, you might be thinking, well right, that's technically the law, but nobody actually abides by it, well actually that song brings in an estimated $2 million a year, so somebody's paying it. The copyright to the song was purchased by Warner Music in 1988 for $25 million, and since then, has been the topic of multiple lawsuits. Now the song remains in a huge grey area at the moment, but most legal professionals realistically consider this song to be in a public domain at this point. However, Warner Music would disagree, mostly because the song is the highest earning single song in history, as well as the most recognizable song in the English language. But don't worry, you keep singing that Happy Birthday song, whatever makes you feel good, baby. You stick it to the man with your bad self. (barks) Number two is connecting to unsecured WiFi networks, let's be completely honest, some of you get pretty excited when your neighbor has unsecured WiFi, free surfing and no bill! (makes mouth noise) Good times, except that it can get you thrown in prison. Connecting to an unsecured WiFi connection falls under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, which makes it a crime to have unauthorized access to anyone's computer or their WiFi. How serious is it? Well in the United States, it's a third degree felony that carries a prison sentence of up to two years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines. Now, realistically, will this happen? Probably not, but, I wouldn't want to test getting caught. Besides if you really want WiFi, just come over to my place. My WiFi is Bill Nye The Science Fi and the password is science rules, I'm a loner. Number three is selling stuff online. Most of us at some point have sold something online, whether it's through Ebay or some other online merchant. And these sites have very clear rules when it comes to selling things like bootlegged movies, alcohol and tobacco products, this you already know, but did you know that anything you sell online, big or small, must be claimed as income on your Federal tax return? Oh yeah, you're going to jail because you sold an old sweater, sorry. No of course I'm kidding, chances are the Federal government is not going to find out about the $10 that you made off of selling your old Pogs, but the fact remains that the law requires you to claim that money, in fact, theoretically the IRS, CRA or whatever governing tax body your country has doesn't care where your income comes from as long as you claim it and pay taxes on it. This literally means that if you're a drug dealer, you better be claiming all those dime bags you sellin, baby. Although nobody really expects all you mini Pablo Escobars out there to start paying your fair share of taxes, so, you go on your way, number four is throwing away junk mail. Okay, be honest, if you've ever moved into a new place, what do you do with the junk mail that you receive that was meant for the previous tenants? How many times have you actually written return to sender, or person has moved on those envelopes and taken the time to go back to the post office? I'm gonna guess none of you, most people in those situations wind up throwing those pieces of mail in the garbage, but guess what? It's super illegal, in fact is a Federal crime to open, destroy or otherwise tamper with another person's mail. And that includes tossing it in the trash, even junk mail. How illegal is it? Well, try a $250,000 fine and potentially five years in prison, yikes. The first 100k The hardest part about a business is making it profitable, scaling a business from 50 to 500 is so much easier than 0 to 50. So you should focus all of your fucking energy on that in my opinion. Okay, that's not what I was expecting Yeah. That's the truth. So you mean just completely quit poking for now? Yes it'll be there when you're done but you will be you will be so much happier when your life is completely financially free and you're set up for the rest of your life because you have a stable business that's providing all all of your income and all that time that you have channeled towards your job you can channel towards poker in the future if your business gets to where it needs to be, but the business is the golden ticket.
You have an asset that 99 percent of people in the world would kill for. Don't waste it. What is your business? What are you selling? You are selling shit on eBay? Oh, yeah. I sell electronics and laptops on eBay. Yeah, there is absolutely no reason you can't scale what you're doing 10x I don't know what you do or how you do it, but if you're making 50 there's enough people in the world that wanna buy electronics that you can make 500 You just need to figure out how to do it. You should spend all your time on that business, my man. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is possible, but, as you mentioned I have to figure out the way to scale it. Then you also have to not give a fuck about anyone what anyone else thinks, because there is probably a lot of societal pressure on you being an engineer and you quitting your job and having a degree and... Hooow, sorry, I have to interupt you, but How did you know? That's my main reason that I kept that part-time engineering job. Yeah, because I study people for a living My mother, she's asking me that you got like a graduate degree, you should stay with like engineering, stuff like that, you know Yeah, because you probably care about the opinion of your parents more than you care about the opinion of yourself. Am i right? That's why. In order for you to do that, the voice, the opinion that you have in your head has to be louder than everyone else's in the world combined So when I wanted to quit, dude, when I wanted to drop out of college to play poker I was 18 years old You know how many people told me that I was making the right decision? Zero. Zero people. Zero. There wasn't one, there wasn't a single person that was like YES it's a great fuckin decision, you should drop out of your scholarship at SMU and go play poker for a living This was like 15 years ago when nobody was playing poker either, there wasn't like, there was a few people on TV playing poker but it wasn't like what it is today, but even today nobody would say that was a good decision, cause most of the time it's pobably not, but I knew that I had an ambition to be the best in the world and I knew that to get there I had to take this leap right now or I would never do it I also knew that in a year I could go back to being a college student as easily as you could go back to being an engineer and I knew that the only reason that I wouldn't take this action is because if I was afraid of what other people would say about me if I failed and that's when I said fuck it and you're still living in that fear more than you wanna do what you wanna do, so you're not taking action but whe that pain gets big enough or when you actually get to a place where your confidence is high enough in yourself and you don't give a fuck what other people think because you live only inside your own head. I don't mean that in an arrogant way, I just mean that in in an intuitive positive place that you're coming from, then you're gonna be in the position to make that leap, but you've got to get to that place man Because you're afraid about the opinions of other people that you don't know or that you people that whose opinions don't really matter, like I love and respect that you have a great relationship with your parents or that you you're close to them, but like what they want for your life doesn't matter as much as what you want for your life That's that's the game, and you have to be able to execute on that Alright man... Much love to you brother. Watch GaryVee, his content is great Keep doing what you're doing man, good luck to you buddy! See ya! Maaaan... I felt like it was that societal pressure. So many people I talked to deal with that in poker I get that so often where people are like oh I want to do this but, what if this and what if I fail, and what if that man there's so much of that going on that I was just lucky that my parents really instilled into me self confidence that I could do whatever I want. Actually when I was a kid my mom gave me this little plaque to read and it said I am the only unique me that will ever be, I have a power to make a difference in this world and I listened one other phrase and I just read that every single day and like that really just instilled confidence in me that I can make it with whatever I wanted in life, and I think that it's like the best thing that a parent could instill in a kid is this idea that to believe in yourself, because ultimately like you have to have that conviction in yourself, because no one's gonna have it for you. In fact everyone's gonna tell you you shouldn't do The thing that you want to do because it's too risky because they're all afraid but they're living in their own headsthat they're not doing the thing they want to do so they're doing the job they hate or the things that they feel like they have to do, because that's what society tells you to do and it's all just a load of bullshit. If you're really looking for that next level? So, my next question is should I just quit like my part-time job and my business and eBay and just focus on poker? Yeah that was the real, that was the real question for you to ask and I'm glad that you brought that up.
So.. The real question I have for you is why are you working for $18 or $20 an hour when you have a business making 50k a year? Why don't you scale the 50k your business to 100k? and just play poker, I don't understand, and just play poker on the side Why don't you scale business from 50 to 500? I've been scalling that buisness, but never thought about this Because, I mean, I got my masters and I was hired by the same time I was in school, and that's how it started I was full-time engineer at school and then I found like this side business at eBay and Poker at the same time so I had to like put some of my time into those two I mean the business on eBay and the poker so I had to cut off the time from the my real job which was being a boss engineer That's why it started to be a part-time and of course it's Yeah, you are right! If I'm only making that much an hour I should quit that job but, I wanna make I wanna be sure that's not the the wrong decision that I'm making If I can only be sure that if I can go pro or semi- pro and make i living out of poker, you know? Can I just tell you what would I do if I was in your spot? I would.. I would stop playing poker and I would focus intermittently meaning short-term, on my business and I would go all in on my business. I would keep my job until I stabilize the business but my first priority of life would be stabilize that business and I would get that business to making 100k a year as fast as possible I would spend all of 2019 doing that and I wouldn't do anything else, I wouldn't watch Netflix, I wouldn't listen to the AskAlec show, I mean you should listen to the AskAlec show on SM, that's the only thing you should do, is listen to AskAlec and scale your business and I would focus on all my attention on that, I would have no distractions, I wouldn't go out like I would just do nothing except that, because that is your ticket to complete freedom in your life. You can do whatever the fuck you want in life if you make 100k a year online and I mean that honestly, like people look at my life and think like you have to make a ridiculous amount of money to live a life where you're traveling the world full-time, like, if you make a 100k a year, and you control your time you do whatever the fuck you want, if you're smart with your money so I would focus all my attention on that and when I hit that benchmark, I would set goals for myself, I would figure out exactly how much my ideal lifestyle costs which you can download these sheets at AlecTorelli.com to use the exact financial system I use to figure out my ideal cost of living and get my finances in order, it's totally free and I would focus my energy on that business and then I would quit my job when my business was stable, and then I would play poker on the side and I wouldn't I would make extra money playing poker but I won't need to because my business fuel is my life but that's a really great spot to be because you know what's cool? it's cool to be able to play poker but it's not necessarily cool to have to play poker and I think people think that it's cool to be a professional poker player, but it is a lot of stress relying on a high variance job to pay bills if you're grinding it out at 2/5 and 5/10 It is a lot of stress if you're not willing to go all-in on your business that's stable making 50k a year, you are not going to be willing to go all-in on playing poker. So poker is always gonna request a responsible play from you when you have a business that's making a 50k a year, I would do everything I can and make that business make 500k a year because the difference, the hardest part of a business, they asked the billionaire What the hardest part of becoming a billionaire was? Do you know what he told them? Let's see if I want anything okay, so I guess it's just gonna match symbol So I got an arrow here to have a crown to have a cactus. If you think the stress that you have experienced during law school is pretty harsh, wait until you become a full-fledged lawyer working in a law firm, handling the cases of a number of clients. Being one requires that you study everything in your specialized field, everything from law books up to case files. Not to mention the stress trials and hearings give. Also, dealing with clients may also be a stressful task, considering that you are already handling the case of a person who is extremely stressed and not certainly having a time of his or her life. However, handling stress is pretty easy and it really does not take much.
First off, the things that stresses out lawyers. There are a number of things that stress out even the brightest of lawyers. This involves the workload, for example. Lawyers in smaller firms (and ones that have independent offices) are mostly tasked to handle numerous tasks a human would not be able to accomplish under normal circumstances. More work also means longer hours, meaning lawyers would not have enough time even for their basic necessities, let alone leisure time. This also takes a toll on their personal relationships, since their jobs take a lot out of their time. Dealing with volatile clients may have a negative effect on one's emotions – the negative energy will definitely transfer to the lawyer. With the above mentioned facts, how can a lawyer handle the stress of the work place? Well, it needs a simple time off and a lot of getting used to. Sleep. No matter how much work you have to do, there's always enough time to do it. Never ever compromise rest. Getting adequate sleep will definitely help and benefit you in the long run. Having 7-8 hours of sleep a night will make you able to function and do your daily tasks in a more positive and active note. It will also help you deal with stressful events, so if you rarely visit your bedroom to catch a much-needed snooze, you better start today. Your profession (salary and billable minutes) may be reduced, but it will certainly help you lead a healthy lifestyle and improve your condition. Vacations. Taking a three day or a week long break may do wonders, especially if you have been working nonstop for months. Take a day off to go to the beach or go on an amusement park with your loved ones or you could just sleep on the couch all day without worrying about work-related things that could induce stress. Socializing and Exercise. Never compromise your relationships with your family and friends over work-related matters. You need them as much as they need you. Having a chat with your kids, spending movie time or just plainly having a light conversation will do wonders in raising your positivity and brightening up your outlook. Also, be sure to spend some time to sweat off the stress. Go out jogging with your dog or play some pickup basketball games after work. The little things are often the most important ones. When all is said and done, the Harry Potter series of stories – both the literary works and the large-screen adaptations made from them – will go down as quite possibly the most successful and lucrative series of all time. This is not in dispute.
Consider where we started: in 2001, The Sorcerer’s Stone introduced moviegoers of all ages to Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), the boy wizard, and his two best friends, Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson). We marveled, much as they did, as J.K. Rowling’s universe unfolded, enveloping us in a world where magic was a way of life. But it is now eight years later, and the penultimate chapter of the series, The Half-Blood Prince, is upon us. Gone are the adorable preteens; our heroes have grown into mature young adults. Gone is the childish innocence and whimsy; it has been replaced by raging hormones and bucketfuls of teenage awkwardness. And gone is the mere appearance of peril, when the most dangerous endeavor was winning a game of life-sized chess; it has grown to almost cataclysmic levels, where the throes of the evil Lord Voldemort’s masterplan have ramifications in the “real” world as well. The story focuses mostly on the collaborative effort of Harry and Hogwart’s headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), who are searching for a way to counter Voldemort’s growing power. One key piece of this puzzle is the return of Dumbledore’s old friend and former teacher Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), who possesses locked-away memories that may prove vital in the coming struggle. And I should perhaps have put a heavy accent on the word “coming”, because, as you may expect with the second-to-last chapter of such an epic story, there are no major action sequences or fight scenes. Half-Blood Prince is very much a platform, setting the table for The Deathly Hallows. The pace of this movie is very slow, almost annoyingly so. It is refreshing that director David Yates did not use the film’s two-and-a-half-hour running length to bother explaining developments and character references to us - honestly, if we who are watching this film don’t know what’s going on by NOW, it is pointless to try to explain – but even so, there were are few places where the film seemed to drag. Most of HBP’s humor comes from the aforementioned giddy awkwardness, as most of the main characters explore various ill-timed romantic relationships. I found myself, during the last half-hour of this movie, comparing it to The Empire Strikes Back. That film, too, was more of a set-up for the finale than anything; and in place of a pulse-pounded climax, there was a revelation or plot twist that left the audience shocked and stunned, as certain character developments take a sharp dramatic turn. (I won’t say any more than that.) In conclusion, The Half-Blood Prince probably will not rank among the very top of my favorite chapters of the series, but it did what it was supposed to do… it evolved the story, the mythology, the substance of the story, and whetted our appetites for the beginning of the end, which is now in sight (a mere year and a half down the road). 4 / 5 stars |
